Our client is an international bank based in Geneva and in other international financial places.

• Sanctions Management: Act as the Group referent for all sanctions topics, ensuring compliance with international sanctions (UN, EU, SECO);
• Monitoring and Control: Follow a sanctions monitoring program, conduct reviews, and implement controls;
• Analysis and Assessment: Analyze transactions and business relationships to identify and mitigate sanctions risks;
• Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs on sanctions compliance;
• Reporting and Communication: Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory authorities; act as the primary contact for sanctions inquiries;
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with legal, risk management, and other departments to ensure a consistent approach;
• Regulatory Monitoring: Stay informed about regulatory developments and adapt policies accordingly;
• Other ad-hoc responsibilities in compliance area;
• Participation of the day to day in the office.

• Academic background or Compliance background;
• Minimum 7 - 10 years of experience in a similar position, with a strong background in private banking and sanctions compliance. Proven success in a similar role within a Swiss bank ;
• Good knowledge of MS Office and banking programs ;
• Excellent language skills in French and in English ;
• Proactive and results-oriented team player;
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills;
• Diplomatic and pedagogical approach, able to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
• Swiss residence mandatory.
