For one of our clients in Life Sciences based in Le Locle, we are looking for a Laboratory Technician (m/w) for an open end temporary contract.

Your responsibilities:

• Sampling
• Preparation of sample labels
• Independent analysis of routine samples using the applicable test methods
• Logging in of samples into electronic lab systems or manual systems which would include logbooks and the maintenance of control numbers
• Performing and monitoring routine testing using laboratory instruments
• Recognizing problems during the analysis
• Initiating investigation for non-conforming laboratory test result
• Performing daily calibration/verification checks on laboratory instruments
• Making and recording lab observations and calculations
• Collecting and preparing data for evaluation
• Archiving documentation on testing that has been completed
• Performing other related duties as assigned by management
• Maintaining clean work area
• Supporting laboratory housekeeping, environmental and safety initiative

Your profile:

• Available immediately
• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
• 5 to 10 years of experience in a GMP laboratory environment
• Training in GMP and ISO requirements
• Ability to communicate in French writing and orally
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Self-motivated
• Basic level in English is a plus
